Appointments & Booking

QC Canine Design operates by appointment only.

  • Appointments are scheduled by text message and are subject to approval.

  • Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee availability.

  • QC Canine Design reserves the right to decline or discontinue services at any time.

Deposits

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure grooming appointments.

  • Deposits are applied toward the final cost of the groom.

  • Deposits are forfeited for late cancellations, no-shows, or policy violations.

  • Deposits may be transferred one time only with proper notice.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

As a small, private grooming salon, missed or late-cancelled appointments directly impact our ability to serve other clients.

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule any appointment.

Courtesy Reschedule

  • Each client is granted one (1) courtesy reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice per calendar year, provided proper communication is made.

  • This courtesy is non-transferable and does not apply to no-call/no-show appointments.

  • Once the courtesy has been used, all standard cancellation policies apply.

  • Courtesy reschedules do not apply during peak holiday season.

Outside of Peak Season (January–October):

  • First late cancellation (after courtesy is used): $50 rescheduling fee

  • Second late cancellation: 100% of the scheduled service fee

  • After a second occurrence, prepayment will be required for future appointments

Peak Holiday Season (November–December):

  • Due to limited availability, no-call / no-show appointments during this period may not rebook

No-Call / No-Show Policy

  • Failure to arrive for an appointment without notice may result in:

    • Forfeiture of deposit

    • Full service fee being charged

  • Rebooking eligibility is at the sole discretion of QC Canine Design

  • Repeated no-shows may result in permanent refusal of service

Late Arrival Policy

  • A 15-minute grace period is provided.

  • After 15 minutes:

    • A $10 late fee may apply

  • After 30 minutes:

    • Appointment is considered forfeited

    • Deposit is forfeited

    • Full service fee may be charged

Late arrivals disrupt the grooming schedule and impact other pets receiving care.

Dogs must be picked up within one (1.5) hour of grooming completion. We always text 30 mins before completing the groom.

Dogs remaining beyond this time may incur daycare charges, which include supervised care, water, and potty breaks outside. Puppy and senior pickup requirements remain in effect

Policies

At QC Canine Design, we provide a calm, boutique grooming experience with a focus on safety, quality, and individualized care. Please review the following policies carefully. By requesting, scheduling, or receiving grooming services, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to all policies outlined below.


Dog Eligibility Requirements

To maintain a safe and controlled grooming environment:

  • QC Canine Design services dogs 30 pounds and under only

  • Weight limits are strictly enforced

  • Dogs exceeding this limit will be refused service upon arrival

Puppy & Senior Dog Policies

Puppies (12 months and younger)

  • Puppies 12 months of age and younger must be picked up immediately once grooming is complete.

  • Clients will be notified when their puppy is ready.

  • Pickup is required within 30 minutes of notification.

  • Puppies are not permitted to remain in the salon beyond this timeframe.

Senior Dogs (10 years and older)

  • Senior dogs 10 years of age and older are groomed on a case-by-case basis.

  • A Senior Dog Release & Acknowledgment may be required prior to scheduling or servicing.

  • Senior dogs must be picked up immediately once grooming is complete.

  • Pickup is required within 30 minutes of notification.

Extended holding times are not permitted for senior dogs due to health, stress, and safety considerations.
